1965 Ford Falcon - $7,000 - Seattle, WA -

1965 Ford Falcon.  4 door, 200 CUI I6, 3 speed Automatic. Has optional factory seat belts.
58K original miles.
99.99%  factory original.
We are at the age to start downsizing. This is one of two stock vehicles I am selling. The Falcon and other vehicle have been stored in semi heated mild climate garage for the last 25 years. This 1965 Falcon is so factory that the only things replaced is just some aging rubber (Tires a hose or two, battery and oil) Original bearing and brakes. Drive it home today.
I would rate this vehicle as excellent but the rear bumper has some very slight damage from 40 years ago.
Nothing has ever been modified and very few items replaced and/or adjusted. Spark plugs, rotor, plug wires oil & filter, a hose or two.
? 2nd owner for the last 25 years. This car has always been garaged under a cover.
? No detectable body rust or rust bubbles /surface rust or corrosion.
? Runs like factory new. Does not burn any oil or smoke out the exhaust when started. Runs clean.
? All glass and mirrors are original and in excellent condition.
? Rubber Door seals have been conditioned and are in excellent condition.
? Rubber trunk seal is in excellent condition.
? Steering is straight / all steering components are in great condition. Tracks perfect on the road.
? Has optional factory front seat belts.
? Ford factory origination shipping Seattle, WA where it has stayed.

1963 Ford Falcon - $27,500 - Fredericksburg, TX -

I have a saying.  "A pictures is worth a 1000 words but 900 of them are lies"  We work very hard to make our photos display the true essence of a car but sometimes they just look better in photos than in person.  Such is the case with this cool Falcon.  It is a rare Sprint model with a 260 V-8 and a 4-speed transmission.  It is mechanically sound and drives great.  It rides and handles well and is a blast to drive.  Most of this car is original.  If the paint, trim, or chrome are not original then it is a very old restoration.  The body is solid including the torque boxes and floor pans.  The paint still shines nicely but is not without minor flaws here and there.  The interior is very nice and sill looks good.  It can be hard to find buckets in a Falcon but being a rare Spring model it is sportier than the average car.  Notice the metallic overlays on the door panels.  I have seen 1 year old reproductions that did not look this good.  You could drive and enjoy this car just like it is or restore it as you go.  Most everything works and the cars integrity is above average.  The power top works perfectly and fits snug.  The boot will for sure need to be replaced because it is old.  The wheel covers look to be original and are mounted on 13 inch steel wheels. It is a good ole honest car showing just 82,458 miles on the odometer.  Not sure it has not tuned over since the last couple of time it changed hands was marked miles exempt.  This car deserves to be loved and would make an excellent driver or restoration project.    Make it yours today and have some fun in the sun.  Financing, insurance, and delivery are available.

1963 Ford Falcon - $12,900 - Atlanta, GA -

While not compact by today's standards, the Ford Falcon was considerably smaller than its full-size counterparts of the time, which seemed to grow larger and heavier with each design iteration. With more households buying a second car, the market was ripe for a slightly smaller alternative -- and the Falcon was a huge success for Ford, handily outselling its rivals upon its introduction in 1960.

This example, 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible clad in correct Light Blue Metallic with a White top, is an unmolested, very original driver. Paint quality is decent; glass, rubber, chrome and bumpers do show minor patina but are quite presentable overall. The convertible top is showing some wear, but a brand new top comes with the car. The power top mechanism works properly. The interior shows well -- door panels, carpet, dash and seat upholstery are all in presentable driver condition. The original radio remains in the dash with a modern unit mounted below.

It's easy to understand the Falcon's appeal after driving it. It has no power options (manual transmission, manual steering and manual brakes) but given the car's relatively small size it feels light and manageable, especially compared to full-size cars from the 1950s and 1960s. The 170 cubic inch straight six runs very smoothly and makes plenty of power for around town driving. I appreciate the car's simplicity, and the drivetrain, steering and brakes all perform as they should.

1965 Ford Falcon - $17,995 - Germantown, MD -

1965 Ford Falcon Futura V8 convertible,  I'm selling my father's '65 Falcon Futura V8 convertible, maroon with custom 2-tone maroon and black interior.  It went through a mild restoration in the mid '90s.  Over the past several years we revamped all of the mechanical items, and went further with the cosmetics.  Our goal for this car was to have a tremendously reliable, fun driver that shows well at cruise nights and parades.  The top goes up and down smoothly with no issues.  This Falcon has never been in an accident.  The frame is very solid with no sagging.  The door gaps are uniform top to bottom and the doors close with minimal effort.

Original Futura, not a conversion

An enormous amount of work has been done to this Falcon to make it a great looking car and a worry-free driver.  It's not a number-matching garage queen, and it's not an asphalt-shredding hot rod.  It's just what my dad and I wanted.  When he retired to New Mexico this car lost its garage and he asked me to sell it.  I kept it for two more years but don’t drive it enough.  We're not trying to get all of our money out of it -- who could? -- and welcome respectful tire kickers.  Naturally, the new owner will get a full tank of gas and a fresh oil change with filter, and all of the extra small parts on hand.  Feel free to contact me (Greg) with any questions. ( Please keep in mind that, if emails are sent over the weekend, Hagerty does not not forward until the following Monday.)
